ABOUT ME

I've lived most of my life in Atlanta, US&A. Graduated High School in 2011 and College in 2014 (yes that is slightly early, thanks for noticing). I've been making little movies since my dad's shitty, circa 2003 point-and-shoot camera fell into my hands. I think its resolution for video was similar to that of the first camera phones, maybe 350x285.

I got more work out of these fleetingly useful devices than anyone, documenting long drives with blurry shots of the passing scenery and embarking on cinematic masterpieces starring my favorite lego figurines. These first actors were less than satisfying, and soon I had caught the acting bug. By 2007 I was making a short film of some sort every weekend with myself top-billed, compensating for sometimes less glamorous roles in school plays. In reality I acquitted myself admirably in various productions throughout my stint as a High School Thespian, aside perhaps from as "Orlando" in As you Like it, where I was the only one feigning a stilted British Accent throughout.

In college I took my skills to the big screen, where we practiced with JVC tape camcorders that were even more of a pain in the ass to deal with than those millenium-era point-and-shooters. I became at once both disillusioned with and fascinated with the film industry as we were taught to understand it. Nonetheless I managed to rigorously engage with writing, editing and all manner of cinematographic challenges. Several films were directed and one even achieved the Prize for Best Film at Gradyfest 2014, the prestigious Grady College of Journalism's consolation prize for the student film least likely to induce yawn or cringe.

In the year's since I've been involved in a preposterously wide range of audio-visual adventures, many of which are sampled either whole or in part on this website. I've honed skills in imagination as well as practical skills like sound engineering and doing my own taxes(having side-gigs before it was all the rage has its benefits). Alone and with friends, I competed in the 48-Hour Film Festival, produced a television show pilot, narrated over 30 audiobooks, listened to like 500 audiobooks, created hours of original music, launched a youtube channel, and a bunch of other stuff I've probably forgotten. And I still do a lot of these things today.
